The tap guide holes are sized for ANSI Standard Ground Hand Taps. Standard V-TapGuide® has 32 Standard Ground Tap Sizes: 0-80, 1/64, 1-72, 2-56, 2-64, 3-48, 3-56, 4-36, 4-40, 4-48, 5-40, 5-44, 6-32, 6-36, 6-40, 8-32, 8-36, 8-40, 10-24, 10-32, 1/4-20, 1/4-28, 5/16-18, 5/16-24, 3/8-16, 3/8-24, 7/16-14, 7/16-20, 1/2-13, 1/2-20, 5/8-11, 5/8-18". (The guide does cover tap sizes 0-80 to 5/8 except #12 and 9/16. 0-80 to #6 have the same size shank so only one hole size is needed.)

Standard size tap guide design is easy to use. Works great on flat surfaces, round parts, and angled edges. "V-groove" design allows perpendicular alignment on round and cornered material.
