THREAD DETECTIVE METRIC


Whether you're organizing loose hardware or trying to identify a specific thread pitch so you can purchase replacements, the Thread Detective is the perfect tool for the job. Sets are available in three size ranges: Mini, Original and Jumbo. Each of these sets is in turn available in either imperial (red spacers; #53816, sold separately) or metric (blue spacers; listed here). All sets feature clearly marked gauges for quick identification of the size and thread pitch of both nuts and bolts. One end of each gauge checks the nuts, while bolts can be checked by threading them into the other end. Each set of gauges is strung together onto a wire lanyard that can be hung from a nail for convenient storage.
