SELF LOCKING KIT FOR CAM LOCKS

The CompX Self-Locking SlamCam is an optional accessory to any of our 1-3/16'' and 1-3/4'' Long Cylinder Locks. Once the SlamCam is installed on the lock barrel, putting the key into the lock makes it behave much like an ordinary entry door. Open the door by turning the ''knob'' (the key). When you close the door, the spring-loaded latch automatically engages. To secure the lock in the locked position, simply remove the key. Easy operation makes it far more likely that you will keep the contents of sensitive cabinets safely locked up. In addition, since the spring-loaded latch replaces the steel cam, you don't have to worry about the cam crashing into the cabinet face, and marring the wood or getting bent.
