The WS2000 also sharpens lawn mower blades, axes, scrapers, putty knives, carving tools, lathe tools, and much more! Work Sharp can sharpen and grind nearly any tool in your shop. Work Sharp uses a powerful 1/5 hp motor and produces a max wheel speed of 1750 RPM, so it can handle heavy sharpening and grinding tasks. Work Sharp offers an active air cooled sharpening port with routed air flow and heat sink design to quickly sharpen your tools without overheating or damaging the steel.
The horizontal grinding wheel of the Work Sharp 2000 Metal Workers Tool Sharpener & Grinder provides a larger grinding area and better control than a traditional vertical grinding wheel. Also you don't have to worry about tools kicking back because you are grinding on a surface that's moving away from you.
The WS2000 offers 2 Edge-Vision wheels (150mm) and uses both solid and slotted adhesive backed abrasives so you can quickly and easily change between coarse and fine grits. The innovative Edge-Vision sharpening method allows you to see the cutting edge of tools while you sharpen.
